I uninstalled the software, reinstalled, rebooted, installed a couple of different versions but, nothing seems to change.

Whenever I try to launch Adobe Reader, whether through opening a pdf or just opening adobe reader,it immediately says "Adobe Reader has stopped working" in the default windows 8 crash notice,then it makes me close it and an Adobe Reader notice pops up talking about some of my settings are incompatible and Adobe Reader can't launch in protected mode which is the default,so it gives me the option to launch without protected mode.

If I select to launch with protected mode disabled, then Adobe Reader actually does launch and you can read the first page of the Pdf but then immediately the windows, "Adobe Reader has stopped working" notice pops up again and I have no choice but to close Adobe Reader.

This is a problem I've had since June and I've been unable to fix it. I have tried just installing it through the built in uninstaller and re-installing it, I've tried to repair it again using the built in feature, I've tried using a uninstaller program that's supposed to remove all traces of a program its called Revo uninstaller revouninstaller. Does anyone know something that may fix this problem, please feel free to ask any questions about my computer,I am very knowledgeable when it comes to computers and know almost everything there is to know about my computer.
